Great weather continues and we decided to stay on another day in this lovely inlet without moving. Explored all the mangroves, bays and inlets of Nara by dinghy, lots of rays sunning themselves in the shallows over the sand, turtles up to large sizes, but then allowed the outboard to touch a rock, and sheared the shear pin in the prop. Minor repairs required, easily completed but only after a long row back to GD. Baking rituals continue, choc chip muffins today. There’s a collection of birds starting to arrive, gulls and cockies mainly, now moving in to use the rigging and sides of the boat as well as the dinghy, and they have beady malevolent eyes… makes me recall Hitchcock’s “The Birds” with some alarm..!
Helen is spoiling you! Muffins? I'm still soooooo surprised by the absence of facial hair??? Are you getting old? This must be a first? Continue to enjoy and with hugs to you and Helen. xoxox
