A morning of cleaning, re-organising and re-arranging, along with ‘essential’ tasks whilst waiting for new crew, Di, to arrive on the bus from Cairns. Met her in and walked back to the marina, leaving almost immediately to sail over to Stonehaven on Hook Island. Another memorable journey, a reach under full sail, making around 7.5 knts to complete the 15 miles in just on 2 hours. A cloudy day today with little sun, but good breeze of 15 from SSE. As always Stonehaven very sheltered, and picked up a public mooring mid-afternoon for a quiet time before settling in to happy hour or three, then a quiet evening with H’s famous Spag Bol a la thermal pot (prepared in the morning). No Fish..!
This is Di, the new crew member, stepping over the rail to join ship, and coffee on deck on arrival.
Enjoy!
